Gravity Cast Valve Castings

Manufacturing technology: ,

Gravity casting, also known as permanent mold casting, is a casting process used to produce durable and high-quality metal and alloy parts.

In this process, molten metal is poured into a permanent mold that is typically made of steel or graphite. The mold remains stationary while the molten metal is poured into it, allowing gravity to fill the mold cavity. The metal is then left to solidify before the mold is opened, and the part is removed.

Gravity casting allows for the production of intricate and precise metal parts with a strong and uniform structure. This process is commonly used in the production of car parts, aircraft components, and other industrial applications.
